Get Wild for the Piceance Mustangs! Inflatable Olympics

🐴 Get Ready to Get Wild at the Piceance Mustangs Inflatable Olympics!

Get ready to bounce, race, laugh, compete, and get a little ridiculous for a cause that matters!

Great Divide Group is bringing the community together for the Piceance Mustangs Inflatable Olympics, a day of inflatable games, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs, all in support of the incredible wild horses of Colorado’s Piceance-East Douglas area.

🐴 Why Piceance Mustangs?

The Piceance-East Douglas Herd Management Area is located in northwest Colorado, southwest of Meeker, and spans approximately 190,000 acres of rolling hills, sagebrush, pinyon-juniper, and rugged high-desert country. It is home to one of Colorado’s designated wild horse herds.

These horses are part of Colorado’s wild horse heritage, and organizations like Piceance Mustangs work to protect and maintain the Piceance-East Douglas wild horse area while supporting the long-term future of the herd.

The Piceance horses have been especially in the spotlight this year. The Bureau of Land Management completed a 2026 gather in the Piceance-East Douglas area after estimating the herd was significantly above the established management level. The BLM's stated goal is to maintain a healthy wild horse herd while also protecting the rangeland, water, forage, wildlife habitat, and other resources that share the landscape.

That means now is a great time to come together, learn a little more about these incredible animals, and show your support.

You just have to be willing to get out there and have some fun!

Whether you're competing for the win, cheering from the sidelines, or watching your friends attempt to stay upright in an inflatable obstacle course, we're here for a good time and a great cause.
