Resin Art Coasters craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

Create your own resin coasters with workshop co-owners Heather and Stacey. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn about the properties of epoxy resin and how to create functional resin coasters. Try colorful abstract designs, an ocean theme or dried florals to customize your coasters.

Each participant will make four coasters — try something different on each one to make a matching set. Each set of coasters comes with a metal holder to store them in.

Class includes:

• Introduction to creating resin art — no experience required!
• Four 4-inch round wood coasters in which to create your designs, plus all necessary supplies. Includes a metal holder.
• Detailed instructions.
• Finished project is perfect to use in your home or give as a gift…just in time for the holidays!

Please note:

• This class is appropriate for artists of any skill level. No prior resin experience required.
• Since resin must cure, you’ll need to come back at least 4 days after the class to pick up the final project.
• Resin art can be messy — please dress appropriately.

* This class is recommended for ages 10+. Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
