Poured After Dark: Candle Making + Movie Night

🌙 Poured After Dark 🕯️

Candle Making + Mystery Movie Night for Adults

Friday, October 30

When the lights go down, the candles come out.

Skip the usual dinner-and-a-movie routine and join us at the Coastal Virginia Candle Co. Maker Studio for Poured After Dark — an evening of candle making, fragrance, popcorn, and a mystery movie after the pouring is done.

🕯️ $29.99 Per Person

Your $29.99 Eventbrite ticket includes everything you need to create your own Apex Candle from start to finish.

We provide:

• Your Apex candle vessel
• Wax
• Wick
• Your choice of available Maker Studio fragrances
• All supplies needed to create your candle
• Guidance from our Maker Studio team

Choose your fragrance, blend something uniquely yours, give your creation a name, and pour your candle with help from our team.

Then we dim the lights.

🎬 It’s movie time.

Settle in, relax, and enjoy our mystery movie while your freshly poured candle begins to cool.

🎬 Can You Guess the Movie?

We’re keeping the title a secret, but here are your clues:

🎃 🔪 😱

Genre: Horror • Thriller
Runtime: 1 hour 31 minutes
Released: 1978

A quiet neighborhood.
A masked figure.
And one Halloween night that changed horror movies forever.

Think you know what we’re showing? Keep your guess to yourself until movie night... or start arguing about it with your friends now. 👀

🕯️ Every Guest Gets to Create

Poured After Dark is designed as a complete Maker Studio experience, so each person attending must purchase their own ticket and make an Apex Candle.

Your ticket reserves your individual workspace, candle-making supplies, and spot for the evening.

✨ Want to Make More?

Your Apex Candle is included with your ticket, but you don’t have to stop there!

Guests will also have the option to purchase and create additional Maker Studio products during the event, including:

• Carpet Freshener
• Reed Diffusers
• Wax Pops
• Multi-Surface Cleaner
• Floor Cleaner

🍿 Movie Snacks

What’s movie night without snacks?

Popcorn, drinks, and other refreshments will be available for purchase during the evening.

🌙 Why “After Dark”?

Poured After Dark is the grown-up side of the Maker Studio.

A little moodier.
A little later.
And definitely not your average candle class.

Whether you’re coming with friends, planning a date night, or just looking for something different to do, this is your chance to create something of your own and enjoy a movie night inside the Maker Studio.

✨ Make It Yours

We provide the fragrances.

You create the candle.

Blend something unexpected. Give it a ridiculous name. Make something sophisticated. Make something completely different.

There are no rules about what your candle has to be called.

⏰ Plan for About 2 Hours

The complete Poured After Dark experience will last approximately two hours, including candle making and the movie.

🕯️ Before You Leave

Freshly poured candles need time to completely cool and solidify.

If your candle is not ready to safely take home at the end of the evening, we’ll hold it at the store for pickup at no additional charge for up to 14 days. Shipping is also available at the customer’s expense.

🎟️ Only 25 Spots Available

Poured After Dark is intentionally kept small, with a maximum capacity of just 25 guests per event.

That means more room to create, a more relaxed atmosphere, and a cozy movie-night experience inside the Maker Studio.

Once all 25 tickets are sold, the event is full.

Grab your ticket, bring someone you enjoy spending time with, and join us for a night of fragrance, film, and candlelight.
