Fused Glass Trees Workshop (Adult/Teen)

Create a little holiday sparkle of your own! The Hannibal Arts Council will host a special fused glass workshop for adults and teens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. Local fused glass artist and instructor Vilma Holt will lead participants in creating a festive set of three fused glass holiday trees.

The workshop offers participants the opportunity to experiment with the color, texture and dimension of fused glass while designing three unique tabletop trees. Using an assortment of vibrant glass pieces/frit, participants will select, layer and arrange their own combinations of shapes and colors to give each tree an individual look.

Whether you prefer traditional holiday colors, something bright and whimsical or a more contemporary combination, the creative choices are yours. Display the finished trees together as a colorful holiday grouping, place them throughout your home or give them as one-of-a-kind handmade gifts.

The workshop is open to adults and teens and is a fun opportunity to spend an evening creating something special to enjoy throughout the holiday season.

The cost to attend is $40 for members and $50 for the general public. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. This event is perfect for those looking to expand their artistic skills.

Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early! To register or for more information, visit https://hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com, call (573) 221-6545, or stop by between noon and 5pm Monday through Friday.
