Sophia's Daughter: Spooky Soirée

Our beloved resident siren brings her unique monthly blend of the performing arts to Newark Culture Club! This show builds a story with ethereal sound, live looping, acoustic vocals, original set design, and all the drama.

Sophia's Daughter explores an abstract profile of song, merging live theatre with alternative rhythm and blues and the spell-binding pain of beauty. Audiences will leave through a different dimension than they arrived. An intimate exploration of conceptual art, politics, and personal life through immersive spoken-word, vocal performance, and visual art.

Sophia's Daughter is the lovechild of her community at large, and as an independent artist, local support is INVALUABLE. Local vendors and artists are present at each show so you can commemorate your night with handmade souvenirs, wellness products, and continue your exposure to independent artists in your neighborhood.

If you're in Newark, join Sophia's Daughter at Newark Culture Club this month! See you there!
