Join us with your little ones as we explore the wonders of the natural world together throughout all the seasons of the year!
Nature Sprouts is a gentle, engaging introduction to outdoor discovery for toddlers and their caregivers, designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and joy through hands-on experiences in nature.
Each session includes story time, sensory play, guided outdoor exploration, and simple activities that help children interact with the world around them in age-appropriate ways. The program is relaxed, welcoming, and encourages caregivers to participate alongside their child.
Programs meet in St. Francis Hall and run from 10:00–11:30 AM. Families are welcome to stay afterward to continue exploring, play outside, or enjoy lunch on the grounds.
November: Badgers: Digging Deep
Get ready to dig deep into the world of one of Wisconsin’s most fascinating animals! We’ll discover how badgers use their powerful claws and bodies to dig, find food, and create underground homes. Through movement, exploration, and hands-on activities, we’ll uncover some of the secrets of these clever creatures and their lives beneath our feet.
