Adult & Aging Transportation Forum: Older Adults & People with Disabilities
About This Event
Join us for a community forum focused on helping older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers confidently utilize accessible transportation and transit services.
This forum is designed to promote greater social engagement, independence, and employment opportunities by providing information about available transportation options and services.
The forum will feature representatives from United Seniors of Alameda County (USOAC) , AC Transit, and Community Resources for Independent Living (CRIL), who will share information and answer questions from community members.
What to expect:
- Information on accessible transportation options and services
- Review of the upcoming Measure RTM (Regional Transit Measure)
- Opportunities to ask questions and connect with community services
- A tour of the buses and an opportunity to explore their accessibility features
- Light refreshments
