Two Moons: Monthly Shadow Work Immersion ANGER with Jess Spain

Shadow work is about facing the parts of yourself you usually avoid: the fears, doubts, and emotions you’ve buried. It’s not about judging them but understanding where they come from and how they shape you. When you bring these hidden parts into the light, you free yourself from old patterns and grow into a more authentic version of yourself.

Each month, we will gather in community to meet our shadows with compassion, curiosity, and gentle awareness. Together, we will create a safe and supportive space to explore the parts of ourselves that often remain hidden - the emotions, patterns, beliefs, and experiences that are asking to be witnessed, understood, and integrated.

During this two-hour healing experience, we will move through personal reflection, guided meditation, and community connection. Through guided shadow work prompts, journaling and community discussion, we will explore various themes with kindness for ourselves and for others. Guided meditation will help us connect internally, followed by community discussion and sharing (always optional) to remind us that we are not alone in our healing journeys.

We will close with a grounding sound bath to fully integrate our deep work and rebalance the nervous system before we part ways.

Each month will offer a new theme for exploration.

Jess Spain holds a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Studies from Portland State University. Before COVID, she worked as a counselor for several years, with a focus on serving the Indigenous community in her area. During that time, she developed her own group curriculum centered on mindfulness, DBT skills, and emotional intelligence.

Jess is a Portland, Oregon Indigenous (Cow Creek Umpqua enrolled) spiritualist, Reiki Usui Master, mindfulness teacher, and astrologer. Her esoteric journey began in childhood and has continued to grow into an integral part of who she is today.

She is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, sound healer, and certified 200-hour yoga instructor. Jess has been a formal meditation student since 2020, with ongoing training and education in mindfulness and meditation. In 2021, she attended Nightlight Astrology School, where she studied Hellenistic Astrology. She has found deep joy in exploring birth charts alongside healing work and using astrology as a tool to guide and support others.

Two Moons Wellness is Jess’s way of bringing together her culture, educational background, and esoteric studies into one practice—uniting body, mind, and spirit with universal flow. She believes in the transformative power of introspection, including shadow work, grounded in mindfulness, to help others connect more deeply with their higher selves.

Jess has applied these practices to her own life through mindfulness training and experienced a sense of inner peace, tranquility, and serenity she once did not believe possible. Through Two Moons Wellness, she hopes to share these transformative tools with others and help them discover greater peace in this life.
