Join us at Adams Creek Cohousing to enjoy the ancient ritual of lantern-making and parading at this traditional autumn festival, also known as 'Samhain'.
Reserve a spot at one of two lantern-making workshops on Saturday Oct 24th in our beautiful Common House which overlooks the river and Mount Adams.
And then gather with us later in the evening at 6pm for warm cider, snacks and a parade around the neighborhood with our lanterns.
These beautiful lanterns are made from willow and tissue paper, decorated with Fall leaves and silhouette paper cut-outs (please note, the light comes from a solar powered LED, and no flame is involved).
The fee of $5 per lantern helps to cover material costs.
There will be 2 workshops to choose from:
Please book one ticket per lantern you'd like to make, not per person. Children over 10 can generally make them alone, but under 10 they might need adult support.
Please join course instructor, Leo Garcia from Wenatchee Valley College, for two mornings of free Spanish language agricultural trainings: Tuesday November 10th 8am -12pm Pest
Solve clues, tackle wacky tasks, and explore your city’s uncovered gems to create a fun, unique experience for your team bonding event.
Join me, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, at Orolume for a relaxed hour of conversation. We’ll talk about everyday life, travel, food, family, or whatever interests you. The
