The Tender Harvest is a community grief circle held at Sky Mother Temple in the season of giving thanks, when gratitude for many of us sits right beside an empty chair. Grief and gratitude don’t cancel each other out. Most of us are holding both at once, often without anywhere to set them down.
Grief arises from many life experiences: change, death, aging, loss, a different path than we were hoping for, world events, and so much more. In our experience, grief desires and demands to be witnessed and shared in community.
We’ll open with tea and song and sound. Then we’ll offer gentle prompts to explore how meaning making can help us integrate our grief over time, and we’ll share what feels ready and witness one another.
