As October turns toward Samhain, the veil between the living and the dead grows thin. It’s an old and honest time to remember those who came before us and to tend the grief we carry for them, including the grief we inherited without ever being told its name.
Grief arises from many life experiences: change, death, aging, loss, a different path than we were hoping for, world events, and so much more. In our experience, grief desires and demands to be witnessed and shared in community.
Join us for an evening of tea, a gentle opening with song and sound, and simple Samhain ritual as we build a collective ancestor altar together. Then we’ll share what feels ready, witness one another, and let ourselves feel less alone in the web grief weaves across generations.
You’re invited to bring a photo, an item, or simply a name to place on our ancestor altar.
