Market Literacy Night - Houston

Market Literacy Night - Houston

“Learn how markets work—with play money, not real stakes.”

Market Literacy Night is an interactive learning session exploring risk, diversification, liquidity, time horizons, and financial decision-making through fictional scenarios.

HOW IT WORKS

Small groups receive $100,000 in fictional credits to allocate across educational asset categories based on hypothetical financial goals.

Each group then faces an unexpected market event, such as inflation, declining markets, or changing cash needs, and decides whether to adjust its allocation.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPLORE

• Risk and diversification
• Stability versus growth
• Liquidity and time horizons
• Decision-making under uncertainty

NO REAL MONEY. NO INVESTMENT PITCHES.

There are no actual investments, financial products, prizes, payouts, or winning portfolios.

The goal is to understand financial tradeoffs—not predict returns or recommend investments.
