Deconstructing Race Series: Can Racism Be Dismantled?

This five-session community series, developed in partnership with Men & Mental Health and Hovey Street Baptist Church, will explore how race and racism are defined, how racial beliefs can influence behavior and institutions, and how evidence-informed approaches can support individual and collective change. The series will also consider connections between racial beliefs and mental health.

The sessions are planned for Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hovey Street Church on November 4, 11, and 18, and December 2 and 9, 2026. Youth ages 10–18 are welcome, with participation arrangements to be confirmed.
