About this event:
Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) have transformed teaching and learning in many schools, but student service professionals often struggle to find PLC structures that truly fit their unique roles. This interactive half-day workshop is designed specifically for school counselors, social workers, school psychologists, behavior specialists, and other student support professionals who want to collaborate more intentionally and effectively.
Participants will explore practical PLC structures, protocols, and facilitation strategies that promote meaningful collaboration, shared problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Through guided discussions, real-world examples, and dedicated planning time, you'll identify ways to strengthen your current PLCs or launch new collaborative practices that better support students and staff.
You'll leave with actionable tools, planning resources, and fresh ideas you can implement immediately to create more focused, productive, and sustainable PLCs within your school or district.
Who should attend:
This workshop is designed for student service professionals and educational leaders who facilitate or participate in collaborative teams. Ideal participants include:
While not required, teams are encouraged to attend together to maximize planning time and begin implementing new PLC practices immediately.
