Music By Kota with For Eve at Martin's Downtown

Music By KOTA is a five-piece Southern rock band out of Jackson, Tennessee. Jackson sits right between Memphis and Nashville, and the band has cut their teeth in both worlds — bar rooms, listening rooms, and everything in between. Built for the moments that need to hit hard: packed houses, late nights, and rooms that don't want the music to stop.

Drawing comparisons to Kings of Leon, Mt. Joy, Houndmouth, Whiskey Myers, and Red Clay Strays, Music By KOTA brings a sound that's equal parts southern grit and modern indie energy. But what sets them apart isn't just the music — it's what happens in the room when they play. High-energy sets, genuine crowd connection, and the kind of chemistry that only comes from a band of brothers who've been doing this together for over a decade.

From original music to crowd-favorite covers, Music By KOTA reads the room and delivers every time. They've played corporate events, festivals, and clubs across the Southeast — and they know how to turn a good night into one people are still talking about Monday morning.
