Meet & Greet with Florient Jousse (Flamboyants!)

Celebrate Caribbean and Indian Ocean Creole literature at Bonjour Books DC!

Following the Washington, DC premiere of Flamboyants! at La Maison Française (French Embassy) as part of its Villa Albertine U.S. tour, writer and director Florient Jousse will be at the shop for an informal, drop-in Meet & Greet and book signing.

Drop in anytime between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to:

• Meet Florient Jousse and discuss bringing Creole history, Maloya rhythms, and island traditions from the stage to the page.

• Pick up a signed copy of the published play script "Flamboyants!" (Éditions K'A).

• Explore our curated display of Francophone Caribbean and Indian Ocean literature—from Réunion Island to Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Haiti.

ADMISSION & RSVPs:

• Open to All / No RSVP Required: Just drop in between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM!

• Optional Free RSVP: Not required for entry, but reserving a free ticket helps us gauge headcount and plan for space.

• Reserve Signed Copy ($18 voucher): Holds 1 copy of "Flamboyants!" (Éditions K'A) at the register for signing during your visit.
