About This Event
Lower Keys Medical Center invites you to a free class on breastfeeding and lactation. A certified lactation counselor from the Department of Health - Monroe County will provide helpful information including:
- Benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby
- Get a good start on your successful breastfeeding journey
- Latching and positioning
- Feeding cues
- Milk supply
- Common challenges and solutions
- Breastfeeding support
- When and where to get help
- Question and answer session
