Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class

Current Special: Save $20 on Current Classes

Tennessee law has changed, and many people now find handgun carry rules confusing. Permitless carry may apply to many adults in Tennessee, but it is not unrestricted constitutional carry. The Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit still offers important advantages for responsible gun owners.

The Enhanced Permit gives permit holders broader carry authority than the standard Concealed Handgun Carry Permit or permitless carry alone. It allows open or concealed carry, documents your completion of a state-approved handgun safety course, provides formal training, and gives travelers the benefit of a Tennessee permit recognized by many other states. Because reciprocity laws vary, always check the laws of any state where you plan to carry.

Frontier Firearms USA teaches the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class in our state-inspected indoor handgun academy and shooting range in Kingston, Tennessee. State and nationally certified instructors teach the course, and Frontier has certified over 20,000 students.

If you want more than a minimum-requirement certificate, take your class at Frontier. We focus on safe handling, responsible carry, Tennessee handgun law, range procedures, and the practical knowledge you need to carry with confidence.
