Hello humans. The Suriel here. After all the waiting, the tea is FINALLY piping hot.
Cancel your plans, caffeinate accordingly, and tell your family you’ll see them when you emerge from Prythian sometime next week. Because after YEARS of waiting, theorizing, rereading, arguing over fictional men, analyzing bonus chapters like they’re classified government documents, and wondering exactly how much wingspan is too much wingspan...
ACOTAR 6 (and soon 7) is here!
And obviously, we’re not just handing you a book and sending you home like civilized people.
We’re throwing a full-blown midnight release party worthy of Starfall.
First, Sarah (your humble hostess and owner of Literally Kittery) will attempt the frankly heroic task of recapping five entire books of fae fuckery in one presentation. Expect major plot points, minor plot points she personally finds hilarious, mating bonds, trauma, questionable decisions, bat boys, approximately 700 instances of someone growling, and her completely unbiased opinions about everyone involved.
Will it adequately prepare you for Book Six? Maybe.
Will Sarah get distracted by something completely irrelevant and spend ten minutes talking about it? 100% yes.
We have several hours to kill before midnight, and I refuse to allow any of you to fall asleep.
XOXO,
The Suriel
If you are a member of the Prose Before Bros Book Club, you already know that Sarah puts on quite a show. But for the newbies, here's what you should expect:
🌹💫 The iconic and hilarious presentation of the first five ACOTAR books (full of memes and hot takes)
🧚♀️ Prythian trivia with prizes!
⁉️ Personality quiz determining which ACOTAR character you are most like (spoiler: Sarah is 100% Nesta with a little bit of Cassian in her)
🍿 Light snacks (on theme of course) and drinks for purchase
🎁 ACOTAR-themed goodie bags (Sarah's love language is gift giving and she does NOT disappoint)
Your $45 ticket gets you the whole damn night in Prythian:
Basically, you’re getting the book, the party, the goodies, and several hours of questionable decisions with your fellow sleep-deprived fae enthusiasts. All you need to bring is yourself, your ACOTAR knowledge, and perhaps a complete disregard for your normal bedtime.
Although not required, you are encouraged to dress on theme. Come dressed as your favorite High Fae, Valkyrie, Illyrian, priestess, terrifying ancient creature, or extraordinarily nosy Suriel. There WILL be prizes given out to anyone Sarah deems worthy.
There will be judgment. There will probably be someone wearing wings. That person, may or may not be Sarah.
And yes.
We will judge the wingspans.
If you haven't read ALL of SJM's books, there will be spoilers during the event.
So here's your warning - we will be discussing (in depth) the entire A Court of Thorns and Roses series and will also touch upon the Throne of Glass and Crescent City series. IYKYK
