Join us for a Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Grower Training designed for fruit and vegetable growers, farmers' market vendors, and other producers interested in strengthening their knowledge of produce safety and safe food handling practices after harvest.
The training will cover key topics related to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), produce safety, and the co-management of natural resources and food safety. Participants will gain practical information they can apply to their own farm or food production operation to help reduce food safety risks and better understand applicable produce safety requirements.
This course meets the FSMA Produce Safety Rule training requirement in Section 112.22(c) and suits growers seeking both regulatory knowledge and practical guidance on produce safety.
