Get ready for an afternoon of cards, laughs, friendly competition, and new connections!

The Local Sapphic Social is bringing Polk County sapphic women together for our first UNO Tournament at The Kitty Cat Lounge in Lakeland, Florida, on Sunday, November 15, from 4–8 PM.

This event is designed for Millennial/Generation Y and Generation X sapphic women, including lesbian, bisexual, queer, and trans women, who want more opportunities to socialize and connect locally.

💜 Singles and couples are both welcome! This is a social event—not a dating event. Come make new friends, expand your social circle, enjoy an outing with your partner, or simply meet more sapphic women in Polk County.

🃏 HOW IT WORKS

Guests will be divided into groups for tournament-style UNO rounds, with winners advancing toward the championship game. 🏆 Between rounds, there will be plenty of time to mingle, meet new people, grab refreshments, and cheer on the other players.

There are only 40 spots available, and tickets are completely FREE. Please reserve a ticket only if you genuinely plan to attend so another guest doesn’t miss the opportunity.

The Kitty Cat Lounge has generously offered to host our event at no cost to us, which is what makes it possible for us to offer this experience for FREE. 💜

We want to return that kindness by showing up and supporting the business that is supporting us! Tea, coffee, pastries, and a limited selection of alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the event.

Purchasing is not required to attend, but if you’re able, we encourage you to grab a drink or treat and help us lift up and bless a local business that opened its doors to our Sapphic Social.

Come solo, bring your partner, or bring a friend. You don’t need to know anyone beforehand—just come ready to play, laugh, connect, and have a great time!
