Still & Strokes Rug Bar: Rooted

You don't need to be an artist. You just need an afternoon that's finally yours.
Between the meetings, the to-do lists, the people who need things from you — somewhere in there, you got lost. This is the afternoon you find your way back.

Still & Strokes is a two-hour guided experience where nervous system restoration meets creative expression. You'll paint a custom rug — with your hands, at your own pace — while your body finally gets permission to exhale.
This isn't a paint night. There's no performance here. No comparing. No rushing. Just you, a brush, and two hours designed specifically to bring your system down from survival mode and back into something that feels like you.

What to Expect

You'll arrive to a space that's already working on your behalf — soft light, intentional sound, your canvas waiting. Before we pick up a single brush, we drop in. A short somatic opening guides your body out of the noise of the week and into the present moment. Breath. Stillness. Permission. Then we paint.

You'll be guided through each phase of creating your own painted rug — no experience needed, no wrong choices. While you work, the room stays soft. There are check-ins. There is laughter. There is the quiet satisfaction of making something beautiful with your own hands while your nervous system rests.
You'll leave with your finished rug, a body that feels lighter than when you walked in, and the memory of what it feels like to do something just for you.
