Join Clemson Extension Horticulture's Dr. Lacy Barnette for an on-farm field day focused on practical conservation strategies that improve soil health and reduce input costs for small-scale producers. Learn firsthand how cover cropping and intercropping has helped Lafleur's Farm reduce inputs and increase production on less than 20 acres.
Through demonstrations, stories of challenge and success, and expert-led discussions, participants will explore how integrating diverse cropping systems can improve soil, lower external inputs, and benefit their farms. Whether you are new to conservation practices or looking to refine your system, this event offers actionable insights tailored to small farm operations.
Lunch is included.
