Aging in Place Panel Discussion IV: Legal & Financial is an educational and interactive event designed to help older adults and their families feel more prepared for the legal and financial decisions that can support a successful future while aging in place.
The discussion will bring together financial and legal perspectives to address important topics including financial planning, estate planning and wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and practical tips for flourishing in later years. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions, and gain information they can use to make informed decisions about their future.
The event will take place on November 12, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with the discussion beginning at 10:00 AM. Light refreshments will be served. This free event is part of the Village Volunteers Thriving Together: Empowered Aging, Enriching Community initiative and is presented in partnership with Dedicated Financial.
The goal of the panel is to make conversations about legal and financial planning approachable, informative, and useful—helping community members understand the importance of planning ahead and putting the right documents, resources, and financial strategies in place to support independence and peace of mind as they age.
