Bold Color and Gel Lighting with Amber Henry Presented by Westcott

Main Character Energy - Bold color and gel lighting for seniors who won't be ignored

Today’s high school seniors aren’t looking for ordinary. In a social media world where everyone is a photographer, they want the portraits that make a statement and stop the scroll. They want images that feel bold, confident, fashion-forward, and unmistakably them.

In this 90-minute intensive mini-masterclass, internationally recognized Master Portrait and Wedding Photographer Amber Henry takes you behind the scenes of the how and why of creating high-impact senior portraits, using intentional lighting, bold color, and creative gel techniques that push your work beyond the expected.

Take a focused deep dive into creative direction, lighting strategy, color theory, and posing, while learning how to confidently guide a generation that values authenticity, individuality, and presence.

Amber will break down her signature approach to quickly using light and color to change the look and feel of any location, sculpting light, building confidence in front of the camera, and transforming an idea into an image that feels instantly elevated.

You’ll watch Amber photograph seniors in real time as she demonstrates some of her favorite colorful lighting techniques, showing you not only what she does, but why she makes each lighting decision and how you can recreate the look yourself.

You must stop creating portraits that blend in with everyone else, and start creating images where your seniors own the frame, tell their story, and look like the main character.

(And create the kind of work that makes you impossible to overlook in your market)
