Lunch & Learn: Jasper Ward & Urban Renewal in Louisville
About This Event
Join us for an engaging lunchtime program exploring the legacy of architect Jasper Ward and the impact of urban renewal in Louisville.
Abigail Haverstick, the Filson Historical Society's Architectural History Intern, will examine how architect Jasper Ward shaped—and responded to—Louisville's urban renewal era, exploring his buildings, writings, and lasting influence on historic preservation and the communities affected by redevelopment between 1959 and 1973.
The presentation begins at 11:30a.m. in the Historic Broadway Theater. After the presentation, join us next door at Locals Food Hub & Pizza Hub to continue the conversation!
