For 30 years, Indiana Youth Ballet's The Nutcracker has been a treasured holiday tradition for families throughout Northwest Indiana and Illinois — and this Christmas, we invite you to become part of it.

Follow Clara on her magical Christmas Eve adventure as her Nutcracker comes to life, mischievous mice fill the stage, snow begins to fall, and she journeys to the enchanting Land of Sweets.

More than 100 young performers will bring this beloved story to life with beautiful dancing, spectacular costumes and scenery, our breathtaking Snow Scene, life-size mice, and our incredible growing Christmas tree — a favorite that has amazed audiences for generations.

Since Indiana Youth Ballet first presented The Nutcracker in 1996, more than 95,000 audience members have shared in this holiday tradition. For many families, attending The Nutcracker isn't simply a performance they see at Christmastime — it has become part of Christmas itself.
