Join Dasha from Dash of Creativity at Stark Brewery in Manchester, NH, for a welcoming, beginner-friendly finger crochet workshop. Learn the basics behind chunky blankets, explore a new creative skill, and enjoy watching your project grow.
No hooks, needles, or previous crochet experience are needed. Your fingers do the work!
Together, we’ll work toward a small blanket approximately 2 feet by 2 feet. This project is a great introduction to finger crochet and gives you a foundation for making larger blankets at home. Choose colors that suit your space, reflect your personality, or make a thoughtful handmade gift.
Participants must bring 6 balls of their chosen chunky yarn. Yarn is not provided or included with registration.
Choosing your own yarn is part of the fun! Pick a shade you enjoy or combine coordinating colors to create a blanket that feels uniquely yours.
For a smoother crafting experience:
Ball sizes and yarn thickness vary. Your chosen yarn and stitch size will influence your blanket’s finished dimensions and how much yarn you use.
Dasha will walk you through the process with clear demonstrations and encouraging guidance. You’ll practice:
Enjoy some creative time at Stark Brewery while learning a new skill. Come on your own or invite a friend for a casual crafting outing in Manchester.
This class is all about learning, experimenting, and enjoying the process. You’ll have time to practice, ask questions, and connect with others while your blanket takes shape. Every handmade project has its own character, and beginners are warmly welcomed.
You may finish your small blanket during class or continue at home. Either way, you’ll leave with new skills and a cozy project to keep creating.
Bring your chosen yarn, settle in at Stark Brewery, and enjoy creating something cozy, one loop at a time!
