Join Tri-Rivers Career Center, Tolles Career & Technical Center, and the Central Ohio Manufacturing Partnership (COMP) for our annual Occupational Advisory Committee bringing together regional manufacturing employers and education partners.
This joint advisory supports Tri-Rivers’ Industrial Maintenance program and Tolles’ Multi-Craft Maintenance program. Employer participation is an important part of our accreditation through the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and, more importantly, helps ensure our programs remain responsive to the skills, equipment, technology, and workforce needs of industry.
This year’s conversation will also look beyond individual programs to the larger manufacturing talent pipeline, from operators to highly skilled technicians.
As recipients of Ohio’s CTE Access Grant, Tri-Rivers and Tolles are continuing to invest in expanded training capacity and opportunities that support regional employers. We want your input on where the greatest needs exist and how education and industry can work together to strengthen that pipeline.
We are also excited to welcome Kyle Fulton, Executive Director of the Central Ohio Manufacturing Partnership (COMP), who will share ways employers can connect with regional and state resources, including workforce funding and training opportunities such as TechCred and Technician Fast Track, as well as additional ways to engage with COMP, Tri-Rivers, and Tolles.
Employers can expect a conversation focused on:
Who should attend?
Manufacturing leaders, plant managers, maintenance leaders, HR and talent professionals, training leaders, operations leaders, and others involved in developing or hiring the region’s manufacturing workforce.
Your participation helps us build programs that produce the talent your organization needs.
