Join us for this special Mahj Giving event at Alternate Ending.
At Keep Mahjing On, we believe Mahjong is about so much more than the game—it’s about community, connection and giving back. That’s what Mahj-Giving is all about: gathering around the table, enjoying the game we love and using our Mahjong community to help our neighbors in need. 🀄️🧡
A portion of proceeds from Mahj-Giving will benefit the Freehold Area Food Pantry, helping local families this holiday season.
During this two and a half hour Guided Open Play session, you’ll put your new skills into action by playing full games while a Keep Mahjing On instructor circulates to answer questions, reinforce game flow and the Charleston, assist with reading the NMJL card, and offer guidance on hand selection and basic strategy. It’s relaxed, confidence-building play with expert support nearby when you need it—the perfect bridge between learning the fundamentals and feeling comfortable joining a game on your own.
All Mahjong materials are provided, so just bring yourself and a willingness to learn. Whether you’re hoping to join friends at the table, start a new hobby, or discover what all the excitement is about, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to continue your Mahjong journey.
PLEASE NOTE: While this event is open and encouraged for beginner level players, this is NOT a lesson. You must have some knowledge of American Mahjong!
Your ticket includes a 2.5 hour Guided Open Play session, and one complimentary beverage. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Keep Mahjing On will provide light refreshments, however the AE Menu will not be available.
We can't wait to see you there!
