Join Team NEO: Connections to Careers!

Northeast Ohio School Leaders and Educators,

I invite your district to participate in Connections to Careers on November 13, 2026, at Auburn Career Center’s Workforce Innovation Center. This free professional development opportunity will be led by Team NEO, in collaboration with Northeast Ohio Workforce Connect and Auburn Career Center.

The adults who work with students every day play an essential role in helping them explore their futures. Connections to Careers will give educators current, research-based information about Northeast Ohio’s labor market, growing industries, career pathways, and the skills regional employers seek. Participants will also explore practical ways to bring that information into career advising, curriculum, instruction, and conversations with students and families.

We highly encourage school counselors, administrators, instructors, curriculum directors, and career advisors to attend. Districts may find it especially valuable to send a team representing several of these roles so the learning can be put to use across the school.

Educators who successfully complete the professional development will become Team NEO-recognized Connections to Careers Certified Advisors.

There is no cost for educators to attend. Space is limited, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We will share registration details as they become available.
