Baker's Brunch: Open Studios & Cafecito

Join us for Bakehouse Art Complex's annual Miami Art Week tradition 💫

Enjoy breakfast treats and cafecito as you explore the largest artist complex in Miami! 🥂🧇☕

Stroll through working studios and shared art-making spaces, meet the artists who bring this creative community to life, and pick up a free book at resident organization Bookleggers 📚

This year, our breakfast will have a special Caribbean twist as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of Villa Albertine’s residency program, in partnership with the Consulate General of France in Miami. To mark this milestone, we’ll shine a spotlight on the program’s Caribbean dimension, with past Villa Albertine artists activating different areas of our campus throughout the event—and a Creole-inspired breakfast where croissants meet Caribbean flavors! 🥐🌴

Discover our fall/winter exhibitions: Homegrown, a group exhibition featuring new and existing works by resident, associate, and alumni artists exploring notions of home, comfort, and belonging, on view in the Audrey Love Gallery, where the traditional white-cube exhibition space is transformed into a warm, lived-in domestic environment. Also on view is BAKEHOUSE @ COLDEFY / COLDEFY @ BAKEHOUSE, a dual-site exhibition created in partnership with Paris-based architecture and urbanism practice Coldefy, showcasing the finalists among 23 submissions from our Triumphal Arch Open Call— including the winning design, The Porch, by Miami architects Elmer O. García and Olga Kusche-Iglesias.

Guests are also welcome to visit our long-term indoor and outdoor installations, including Bakehouse at Forty: Past & Future, In the Studio, Ode to Bakehouse, Say Their Names, and a mural by Purvis Young ✨

RSVP strongly encouraged.
