Unpacking the Punchline: A Stand-Up Comedy Show followed by a sit-down session

Join Miami-born, NYC-based comedian Adri Fernandez for Unpacking the Punchline, a one-of-a-kind comedy show where a therapist joins Adri on stage after her 30-minute stand-up set to unpack the jokes, stories, and questionable life choices behind them.

First launched at Villain Theater last year, the show has since toured across the country and become a monthly show in NYC. But this time, Adri is turning the tables. For the first time, another comedian will join her on the therapy couch: Miami hometown favorite Chris Renois.

Earlier this year, Chris was named a Just For Laughs New Face in Montreal. In 2025, he released a viral Don’t Tell Comedy special, and his acting debut in Mountains premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.

Joining Adri and Chris is Dr. Tasha, a clinical psychologist, relationship coach, and trauma and grief specialist known for getting to the root of any issue quickly, what she calls “Drive-by Therapy.”
