This Halloween, El Bembé & Vedado Social Club invite you into a night inspired by one of Cuba’s most iconic animated films: ¡Vampiros en La Habana!

For one night, Havana comes alive in Miami — tropical decadence, Cuban mischief, vampires, rum, music, and a little sandungueo after dark.

Come dressed as your favorite character or bring your own vampiro habanero to life. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes inspired by the film and its unmistakable Cuban universe.

¡Vampiros en La Habana! is the legendary Cuban animated film by Juan Padrón, celebrated for its irreverent humor, unmistakable Cuban spirit, and a soundtrack featuring trumpet performances by the great Arturo Sandoval.

Who is DJ Johnex?

• Warapo Project collaborator: DJ Johnex was part of the roster featured in “La Ruta de los Atardeceres”, a rooftop concert series in Havana organized by the Cuban creative collective Warapo Project. He performed alongside artists like Havana Sweet House, William Rizz, and Different Age
• Emerging Cuban talent: While not found in mainstream DJ listings or global discographies, his inclusion in Warapo’s lineup highlights him as an active voice in Havana’s local DJ scene, especially within events catering to the younger, university-aged crowd
