UROC Critical Conversation Fall 2026

Join UROC on December 10 for a Critical Conversation centered on understanding the human brain. This conversation will explore the connections between the brain, pain, trauma and pathways toward healing. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. UROC Critical Conversation is a series of public discussions that bring together scholars, activists, historians, artists, and community leaders who address urban issues and ideas. Building on UROC's many University-community collaborations, the series is intended as a "gathering place" for urban-focused research, dialogue, and cultural events.

Located in North Minneapolis, the Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) links the University of Minnesota in vital public partnership with urban communities to advance learning, improve quality of life, and discover breakthrough solutions to critical problems.
