Stable Social

Working in mental health means spending most of our days holding space for other people, and it can leave very little room for the connection we need ourselves. The Stable Social is a relaxed monthly coffee meetup for anyone in the mental health field, and it is meant to be a place where you can talk shop, swap referrals, vent a little, or simply sit with people who understand what your job is like.

We will be meeting Friday, October 30 from 10:00 to 11:30am at Performance Coffee House, 143 S Broad Street in Mooresville. Your first coffee is on us, and there is no agenda, no pitch, and no pressure to network in any particular way. Counselors, therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatric providers, case managers, students, and anyone else who works in behavioral health are all welcome, whether you are brand new to the field or have been at it for decades.

The Stable Social meets on the last Friday of every month, so if this date does not work for you, you are always welcome to join us another time. Please RSVP so we can plan for coffee and seating, and feel free to bring a colleague who could use a morning out of the office.
