Join us as we welcome Hoce, a dynamic speaker whose remarkable journey spans military service, public health, diplomacy, and entrepreneurship.

Hoce served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed on the remote island of Diego Garcia, where she honed her ability to adapt quickly, think on her feet, and thrive in challenging environments while traveling the world. Having lived in more than five countries and numerous cities, she developed a unique skill set deeply rooted in cross-cultural understanding and human connection.

Her public service career in public health spanned local, state, and federal levels, as well as nonprofit work. She designed community outreach programs across multiple locations and led a legislative committee in Hawaii focused on expanding health access for underserved communities.

Later, Hoce decided to make a career pivot, earning an MBA at a prestigious international school in Singapore with an eye toward the corporate sector. During that time, she served as a diplomat at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore, sharpening her skills in strategic communication and building high-level relationships with officials across the Asia-Pacific region. This experience opened the door to finance, where she co-founded a boutique wealth management firm in Charleston, South Carolina. Grounded in personal experience and a deep commitment to ethics and integrity, the firm was built on principles of trust and genuine client care.

Discover how resilience, reinvention, and the courage to pivot can empower you to create opportunities on your own terms—no matter where your path begins.

WEW events are all about connection and community, and we love sharing those moments. By attending a Women Empowering Women (WEW) meeting or event, you give permission for WEW and its organizers, leaders, and partners to capture and use photos, videos, or recordings that may include your image, voice, or likeness. These may be used – without compensation – for promotional, educational, or informational purposes across WEW print and digital channels.

All chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend. YES! You read that right.

(We just ask that if a chapter meeting is at a restaurant location, that you purchase a meal to support the location that is so graciously hosting our event. Don’t forget to tip your server a little extra as most restaurants are struggling with staffing issues and we want to make sure they know how much we appreciate them!)

Enjoy a proven, structured system that embraces the building of relationships which in turn will grow your business efficiencies, sales, exposure, and business processes.

Come meet and learn from panelists, experts, and local women in your WEW chapter. You will also find allies who want to help with your success and are ready to share their resources and expertise to help you take that next step in your personal and professional life.
