Foundation 1: Mindset & Skillset in Palo Alto with Wynne Hegarty [SCH]

Class Time/Dates: 7:00pm-10:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays // December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17

Location: Cubberley Community Center. 4000 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94303, December 2 in Classroom D-6, all other sessions in Classroom E-5

Schedule: 6 sessions, 3 hours each

Class size: 16 students maximum

Prerequisite: None! Open to all adults 18 and over!

Tuition: $399

Foundation 1 is a fun, playful, and engaging introduction to the principles and mindsets of improvisation and the BATS style of improv. The class will focus on developing the ensemble and honing these foundational skills:

• Listening
• Support
• Spontaneity
• Imagination and
• Collaboration

Students will learn the groundwork for the creative magic of improvising stories together.

World-class coaches guide students through the first exciting stages of improvisation in a safe, friendly atmosphere.

At the end of F1, the coach will make a recommendation for each student about what next step is best — repeating F1 to strengthen the necessary skills or moving to Foundation 2: Movement & Story.

We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. Refunds / Transfers / Exchanges

All sales are final. If you’re unable to attend class, please notify BATS Improv before the class begins to receive credit toward a different class. Credits are not prorated for individual missed classes within a series.

Canceled Classes

If BATS Improv cancels a class, you may choose between a credit toward a different class or a refund to your original payment method.
