Floral Alcohol Inks on Ceramic Tiles
Class Overview: You'll learn how to use vibrant inks and air movement techniques to form soft, organic floral designs on a ceramic tile, which will become a heat resistant trivet.
Guided step-by-step, you'll explore color theory, blending, layering and controlled movement using tools like hand held air blowers or compressed air to create delicate petals and flowing forms. Each piece will be sealed and finished with an art resin that is heat resistant and food safe.
This class will be relaxed, creative and beginner friendly. By the end, you will have the skills to continue experimenting with alcohol ink at home.
