About This Event
Have a housing question and don't know where to start? Reported a problem but aren't sure what happens next? Thinking about becoming a homeowner?
Join the Greater Newark HUD Tenants Coalition (GNHTC) for a community housing workshop that connects residents with information, resources, and organizations that can help.
LEARN ABOUT: tenant rights, housing conditions, legal resources, Section 8/Public Housing/RAD, housing-related health concerns, fire safety, fair housing, community resources, and pathways to homeownership.
The day will include: Know Your Rights, two breakout-class periods, resource tables, and opportunities to connect directly with participating agencies and community organizations. With two breakout periods, participants can attend two different classes during the workshop.
