Every part of you is welcome here, sweet friends! <3
Hi there! I’m really happy you’re here, and I would love for you to join me at Una Vida Meditation & Movement in Niwot for an evening of somatic breathwork and community.
Breathwork is an active breathing practice that uses continuous, intentional breaths and body awareness to help your body access, process, and release stored stress and trauma, while opening space for emotion, awareness, and deeper connection with yourself.
When difficult experiences are not fully processed, the body can continue holding them as tension, emotional charge, numbness, or patterns of feeling stuck. This style of breathing gives the body a way to move and discharge what it has been carrying in a safe, supported space.
Facilitating this work is one of the greatest honors of my life, truly! This work is deeply personal to me, and I love sharing the magic with others.
My intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully, authentically, and genuinely yourself, and I truly mean that. In a world that often asks us to perform, keep up, and hold it all together, this is a place to simply exist and feel and breathe and move.
You are welcome to arrive exactly as you are.
Una Vida is a beautiful, spacious sanctuary in Niwot devoted to consciousness, connectedness, and kindness. The studio feels peaceful, warm, and grounding, with plenty of room to breathe, move, rest, and be supported in community.
Mats, blankets, bolsters, cushions, and other supportive props are available, so you can settle in and make yourself comfortable throughout the experience.
I am really excited to bring this work into a space that feels so intentional, welcoming, and aligned with what I want these evenings to be.
Una Vida provides yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, meditation cushions, and other supportive props for your comfort.
Please bring:
You are also welcome to bring your own mat, blanket, or pillow if you prefer using your own things.
If you have any questions, please reach out through Eventbrite or email me at info@laurabales.com. I am genuinely so happy to answer any and all questions and help you feel as comfortable, informed, and supported as possible before joining. <3
I’m a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach, Somatic Breathwork Facilitator, and master’s candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Somatic Body Psychotherapy.
My work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. My approach is warm, compassionate, real, and deeply nonjudgmental. My intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to show up exactly as you are, because every part of you is welcome here.
You can learn more about me and my work at www.laurabales.com.
Breathwork can be powerful and at times intense. Strong emotions, sound, movement, or vocal expression such as crying or screaming can naturally arise as the body releases stored tension and processes experience. This is a normal and welcomed part of the work, and the space is held with care so that all expressions are met with respect.
If you are pregnant or have a history of heart conditions, cardiovascular issues, seizures, severe asthma, recent surgery, or any other significant medical or psychiatric concerns, please consult with your doctor or mental health provider before participating.
You are always in choice. Everything offered is an invitation. Please listen to your body and move at your own pace.
I am deeply honored to hold this space. If finances are a concern, please reach out. I want this work to be accessible to you! <3
