Join Reck League on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk for the Black Carpet Premiere of Jack’s Story and our 10th Anniversary Celebration, hosted by Markeshia Jackson of WAVY 10.

Jack’s Story explores how decisions, peer pressure, and relationships can change the course of a young person’s life. Created through SCRIPTED, Reck League’s Economic Mobility program, the film brought young people into the filmmaking process—from acting and scriptwriting to lighting, sound, and videography. Their work became a film with a message worth sharing.

Spend the evening with the cast, creative team, community partners, and supporters as we celebrate the young people behind the project and help create opportunities for those who come next.

Your evening includes:

• A black carpet welcome
• The premiere screening of Jack’s Story
• A hosted conversation and Q&A with the cast and creative team
• A reception and networking
• A celebration of Reck League’s 10 years of community impact

This event also serves as a fundraiser to support future SCRIPTED cohorts, helping more young people gain practical skills and explore careers in the creative industries.
