Woven Words with Mayes Makes

Yesterday’s news becomes something worth keeping. 📰🧺

Join us at Wildflowers Collective on October 27th from 6–8 PM for Woven Words, taught by Sam from Mayes Makes!

Sam will introduce you to the art of upcycling newspaper, showing you how ordinary pages can be rolled, shaped, and woven into something completely new.

You’ll learn the basics of paper weaving step by step as you transform recycled newspaper into your own small woven basket to take home.

Whether you’re an experienced crafter or trying something completely new, this workshop is all about slowing down, working with your hands, and discovering just how much potential can be hiding in something we usually toss away.

All materials are included. Just bring yourself and come ready to weave a few old words into a brand-new story.
