Build Your Future Summit: A Community Engagement Experience

Not everyone starts with a roadmap. That's why we're building a community where people can learn, connect, and move forward together.

JOIN THE BUILD YOUR FUTURE SUMMIT 2026

Join Cerritos College Continuing Education for the Build Your Future Summit, an interactive day designed to introduce high school students, women, and underrepresented communities to careers in the skilled trades while exploring what it takes to build workplaces where everyone can succeed.

Participants will hear directly from women in the trades, explore career and apprenticeship pathways, experience the realities of the worksite, and take part in hands-on activities that challenge them to imagine the future of construction.

Throughout the day, participants will explore the full journey into the trades, from discovering a career and entering an apprenticeship to navigating worksite culture, building skills, and becoming part of the next generation of the workforce.

This isn't just about finding your place in the trades. It's about helping build the future of the trades.

Summit Topics include:

• Field Construction Panel
• Your Pathway at Cerritos College: AS & BA Degree
• Wellness Tools for The Trade
• Plus more to come!
