Proceeds from the Light A Fire Awards Event go to the Light A Fire Foundation, a 501c3, whose mission is to assist the local charities that improve the lives of Fairfield County Connecticut residents, with a focus on children, women, and immigrants, and support the local journalism that brings attention to those the needs of all Fairfield County residents.
