Faith and Cancer: The Power to Overcome

About This Event

This in-person event is for anyone interested in hearing how faith can support people facing cancer.

About the conversation

Black and African American communities face higher rates of diagnosis and death from many types of cancer. For some people, faith can be a source of comfort, strength, and hope during a cancer experience (CDC).

Join Rev. Bonita for a conversation with panelists who have faced cancer and drawn on their faith in God. They will share their personal stories, the challenges they encountered, and how faith helped them through difficult moments.

Come listen, connect, and find encouragement in their stories.
