One Warm Coat Drive: Oct 20-25, 2026

Clean out your coat closet and help someone stay warm in the colder months ahead! Join me for a local One Warm Coat drive benefiting children and adults in need.

Founded in 1992 with just one woman and one coat to give, One Warm Coat has grown into a national movement built on a simple act of kindness: providing free coats to people who need them while encouraging community volunteerism and keeping gently used coats out of landfills.

Bring a new or gently used, clean coat to this drop-off location Oakland's Woodminster District starting Tuesday, October 20th through Sunday, October 25th :

L'acajou Bakery and Cafe

Open Daily: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

BONUS/EVENT: I’ll be at L’acajou Bakery & Cafe on Saturday, October 24 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Bring your coat donation, say hello, and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and pastry bites with me! And there’s a little extra incentive to donate that morning: coat donations made at L’acajou during the October 24 event will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Skyline Community Market gift certificate!
