Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with chapters in 54 countries -- welcome to the Oakland chapter of Silent Book Club! We are super excited to host you all -- whether you've been reading for decades or just for a month, bring a book and join us at the reading table. Come with a friend or alone -- you are welcome as you are!
For our weekend meet-ups: Pack a book and head over to the outdoor patio at Prescott Market on the 4th Sunday of the month. Look for Silent Book Club signage.
Prescott Market located in West Oakland serves food and drink from a variety of local vendors. There's also a giant sandbox at the patio for young kids. Come read with us!
