Down to Clown- Improv for Kids and Teens

Down to Clown- My Improv For Kids/Teens Program is all year long now! Every Sunday from 1-3 starting in Oct. First drop in class is free to first time students. Monthly and Bi- Montly showcases at JEST Improv, Ventura's Improv and Comedy Theatre.

Pop in and out attendance is allowed, but I'd love you to commit to each Sunday, so that the skills and exersies are mastered for our monthly showcases.

Through upbeat improv games, developed from Second City (Chicago) and theater games, your kiddo will develop their own voice and learn to work together as an ensemble. This series of Improv For Kids, ranges from ages K-12 and can work for beginners, interested young comedians or theater guru’s. Each class has a different focus, that first begins with the basics of Improv/ theater games to build confidence in themselves and to create a script on their feet though Improvisation.

This program has been featured at Crane Country Day School, Oak Grove, Valley Oak Charter, Los Angeles Music and Arts School and Neighboorhood Music School.

Pricing: 35$ per hour, 70$ each Sunday. Sliding scale available. Nobody will be turned away from lack of funds. Venmo, zelle, cash prefered instead of Eventbrite, so we don't pay fees.

If you commit to all 4 classes, each month, you'll get a promo price for only $260.

Email me at IMPROVFORYOUTH@GMAIL.COM for other forms of payment or other questions. I accept cash, venmo and zelle too.

Goals: This class focuses on developing skills where they can trust their instincts, ensemble building, communicating skills, listening, kindness, embracing fear, connection, public speaking skills, self confidence and being in the moment.
