Join ceramics artist Jenny Buelin for this afternoon workshop.
Create functional ceramics inspired by the textures, patterns, and quiet stories found in the natural world. In this 1-day workshop, you will learn approachable clay techniques to create a beautiful elegant and functional footed dish. All experience levels are welcome and no prior clay experience is required.
Every surface tells a story. We often remember places and moments through texture before we remember them through words. The veins of a leaf, the weathered grain of wood, a favorite piece of fabric, or the intricate pattern of lace can all become part of a finished ceramic work. In this workshop, we'll capture those textures in clay, creating an elegant footed dish that preserves a moment, a place, or a memory through touch as much as sight.
All supplies and kiln firing are included in ticket price.
